While on vacation in the Myrtle Beach area, our client sustained multiple leg fractures from falling down the stairs at a rented beach house. The injuries necessitated numerous surgeries and resulted in substantial medical bills. Our firm made claims against the owner of the beach house, and the rental company managing and marketing the beach house. We were able to prove the stairs were defective because they did not warn regarding a substantial change in elevation and did not meet the necessary building codes and industry standards.
